Fred Brown
E-mail: fred_carnoustie@gulftel.comFred was born and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas and graduated High School in Memphis, Tennessee. Fred was a member of the U.S. Army assigned to the United States Army Honor Guard in Washington D.C. for a year and then did the rest of his active duty with the 11th armored cavalry at Blackhorse base in Vietnam. Fred attended Memphis State University and the University of Tennessee. In his adult working life, Fred was the youngest manager of a Firestone Tire and Rubber Company store, then became a territory representative for Cooper Tire and Rubber. When Fred tried real estate, he knew he had found his calling. He bought the land, did the concept, original design, and moved the last owner into Admirals Quarters. Next, Fred looked for a challenge that measured up, and says Carnoustie was the only logical choice.
The owners of the property have agreed to let Fred implement a concept of build to suit. The Carnoustie project is unrivaled in the area for people looking for a beautiful setting, a safe place to live and a real home feeling. He says "Do not be surprised if your neighbor cuts your lawn if he hears you do not feel well."
